We have been working since 2009 to get our mats on the map and participants involved.
My first prototype was built by hand, drilling and wiring the caps together. My son who has been playing baseball for years started hitting up his teammates and coaches to save caps for his mom and her mats.
I had many inquires within the community about our mats and things went from there.
We had a tool manufactured locally. The mats are assembled with galvanized fasteners for longevity.
Each mat uses approx. 450 caps (depending on design). The next step was to seek out a patent for our mats, which went through quickly!
It has been an arduous process but well worth the effort!
